How to Remove Ads from Windows Live Messenger 2011

Every time I installed Windows Live Messenger, I am sure, to remove the ads displayed on the bottom of Windows Live Messenger. This time I will remove the ads again after updating my older version of Windows Live Messenger Windows Live Messenger 2011. I thought that if there are no ads in Windows Live Messenger for the future, I think many people clap their hands, I think that will happen is impossible. Haha! Anyway, for people to delete the Windows Live Messenger 2011 ads, there are two ways to do it.



(1) Remove the ads without touching the registry or install any additional software



1. Exit Windows Live Messenger 2011.



2. Run Notepad (Run as administrator if you are using Windows Vista or 7)



3. Browse to the location C: \ Windows \ System32 \ drivers \ etc and select All Files (*.*)



4. Open the Hosts file and enter the following information



0.0.0.0 rad.msn.com



5. Save and close Notepad.



(2)-Patch Remove Ads



A-Patch Updated 16 November 2010 and has the following personalization capabilities in Windows Live Messenger 2011



Remove banner from the list of contacts



Delete your ad text chat window



Remove final push



Remove Nudge Shake



Remove the search bar



Receive more than 3 files transfers at a time



Remove the top of the list of contacts



Remove the "Connected to ..." bar



Remove the "See the hump" entries in the file menu



Remove the "star" of the box Emoticons "more" dialogue.
